The cover art is the same as the English version. Probably because the two languages are very similar. This name is very similar to the German version. This translates into English as, “The Untamed Heart”. The Afrikaans version is named, Die ongetemde hart. (You can click on the cover art of any of the books to see a larger picture.) With the help of Google and some friends in other parts of the world, so far I have located eighteen: Afrikaans, Chinese, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Lithuanian, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Slovak, Spanish, Swedish, and Turkish. ![]() Once that is known, locating copies is usually not too hard. The most difficult part is finding the book’s name or title in the foreign language. Since I have relatives and friends all over the world, I’ve recently started looking for translations of Wild at Heart in other languages. In this provocative book, Eldredge gives women a look inside the true heart of a man and gives men permission to be what God designed them to be-dangerous, passionate, alive, and free. Sadly, most men abandon those dreams and desires-aided by a Christianity that feels like nothing more than pressure to be a “nice guy.” It’s no wonder that many men avoid church, and those who go are often passive and bored to death.
